Extension & Refurbishment - Glastonbury

Our clients required a more modern and enlarged kitchen/breakfast room as well as a remodelling of the roof space to make the most of the extensive views from the top of The Roman Way across the levels to the south.

We deigned a modest extension which is sympathetic to the late Victorian architecture of the existing house.

Refurbishment & Extension, Glastonbury

A dormer was constructed in the roof to match the existing and the final effect is quite stunning. The opportunity was also taken to create a walled kitchen garden at one end of the access drive to recreate the original feeling of domesticity to this elevation.
